I've been poking around with my multimeter trying to trace a lack of power to.. well.. anything!
My selenoid leads(A, B (http://airsoldier.com/technotes/technote3/bbt_controller.jpg)) show no voltage. I didnt think there was negative polarity with these(b/c you can flip/flop the selenoid connection on a working one and it works either way), so why wouldn't it show up?
I'll be editing more as I probe around, but this is my main concern. It appears the electronics are working fine, but It's hard to say b/c the selenoid won't cooperate.

I don't know your marker, but do you have voltage across your switch when it is open? There should be no voltage across it (the switch) when it is closed. If there isn't a change when the switch is activated, the microcontroller won't know when to fire the solenoid. You probably know this, just trying to help.

I have not tryed that yet.
The back LED(yellow) is on, then turns off when you hit/hold the trigger, so there is power/things working there.
It's just the selenoid.
I'll give that a try tomorrow.

You just get a pulse (i.e. dwell) at the noid when you pull the trigger. Most multimeters wont even read anything.
Look at my schematic, and you should be able to see where Battery and 5 volt are, then poke around to see if you have voltage on certain things, i.e. micro and 5v regulator (Little black 3 pin thing that sticks up from the board.

I pulled off the ACE kit(the 4 wires on top of the controller board), and it worked fine. the noid clicked. I even made a video of it, b/c I was happy i didnt fry anything.

evidently not.
I'll have to send it off and get it done-in right.
Or maybe just try it again. maybe I missed something the first time.
