Can some one help me out with my ACE install

could some one post some pics of their gun with the break beam gear on it please, I have the pics of edwins site of the board wiring, but i am looking for how the body is milled to accept the break beam eyes. Also my kit didnt come with the on off switch for the ACe kit install, will any switch do or is it specific. Also I dont know which diode in the below picture is the "pink" diode, can someone point it out to me? Please, oh and finally how do I protect the exposed wires on the out side of the gun? do I have to make my own shrowd?

you don't have to mill the body, you drill holes in it. You have to do a little milling on the grip frame though. I'll post pics of my grip frame soon if I get around to it, but I'm sure Andy or Edwin, or someone will probably poster here and solve your problem before I get around to it...

Did you buy the kit second hand, as they usually include a slide switch like stock Tribals come with??

From the blurry picture it appears that you have two red Leds instead of one each (Black, pink and clear).

If I messed up let me know when you purchased it (what paypal email address) and I will correct my error.

I generally use Haveblue's grip frame mod but add a slot on both sides.
Maybe Andy has the link....as I can't find the link to the Warlord mod.

Pages 8 and 9 show you how to mill the grip frame. If you plan on using E-blade eye covers like I have done, then you'll need to mill an additional slot for them to slip into.

All I can say is that I hope you're really good with a soldering iron and electronic schematics as well as accurately drilling holes and milling the gripframe...

actually, I got it from shifty, soorry for the confusion, I was hoping I could snag a switch from radio shack, and where can I get the neded diode things? I got a black and 2 reds you say, so where do I get a pink??

hey edwin are they just infared beams? cause radio shack has infared sender and reciever diodes that are bigger than the ones that came with it, they are blue and clear, I am not sure if they are compatible with the ACE kit though.
