A 25g *microswitch* is what your trigger hits, and essentually tells your gun to fire.
It just gives you better response, and a lighter activation pull.

how much money you have is gonna determine how fast it will go...... i prefer chaos, warlord, fury w/ace for boards.

it all starts with the regs though...........imop.
without good regs it will run like poo

i dont know all the technical jargin.......i know the chaos and the warlord can both go as fast as the noid will let it.

maxes out the noid between 24-26 bps maybe higher..thats more of a warpeds skills on anything else

the gun i sent you already has a fury (20bps) and i included the ACE kit, you will spend another $160-200 for a mere 3-6 BPS more?? why? your fingers cant pull that fast and most fields cap ramping at 15 BPS.

I agree the reg is more important, then put that BKO frame on it and try the 80g its pretty decent ....and odly enough the stock switch for the new ion virtue boards,,,,,kinda odd considering the stock ion switch is a 25g switch.

Yea i'm leaving the marker you sent me alone except for a new reg, but I snagged a stock tribal off off ebay and im about to snag another one off ebay and im buying one off someone from the pbnation forum. so im just looking to upgrade the boards on those. what is the 80g switch? a better switch than the 25g?

depends what you like, it has to do with the wight of the trigger pull, not including the spring, one switch requires 80 grams to activate the other requires 25 grams to activate, Angels come with 50grams, defiants came with 80 grams, and Ions come with 25grams.....just a lighter trigger pull (not including magnets or springs) 25 grams are almost too light as with a trigger job, (no spring or magnets) wen you run the bouncing trigger will cause it to shoot.....as in my old Defiant with a 25 G switch mod. 80 grams are considered the crisp trigger pull while 25g's are often reffer to as loose with tons of debounce causeing you to sacrifice control for high rates of fire.

thats what it comes down to, 25g will let you shoot faster if by nothing more then trigger bounce. it is a pain in the ass though when your running and accidently shoot a teamate, or your self in the foot because the trigger pull is so light that when you run it just fires randomly!

ok i see. you said the 25 g switch you were gonna send with my marker was deffective right? are you gonna send another one? if not dont stress yourself im sure someone else has one. what about the magnetic trigger mod? is that installed?

no magnetic trigger, but you can get both the 25g swithc and the magnetic trigger mod for 10$ (thats 5$ each) the mag trig mod just replaces your trigger return spring with a magnet....oposing poles repel each other hence the trigger return.

is the magnetic trigger faster than traditional spring triggers? btw has your cocker arrived yet?

they eliminate moving parts which makes it smoother in my honest opinion.

it also depends on the size of the magnets. by size i do not mean weight or diameter but rather the amount of opposing force they place on each other.

i had a mephy 2.2 with the rare earth magnets in it and i can honestly say i liked the pull in it better then i did springs or even an otb 90* frame.

the magnets from airsolder are pretty good . they are not too light and not overly strong either so it gives you a good smooth snappy triger
