Put fury in, won't turn on?

Well, I recently bought one of Kaos' V1e electronics.
It aparently had already been converted to "Mephisto style", which was awsome, because I bought the set to do that to it anyway.

Anyway, I took the Fury chip out of my previous board, and through it into the new one(meph style), but when I tested it it wouldn't turn on....?
I put the v1e back in and it turned on, it turned on with no problems..

Could my dip switches have anything to do with it?

Interesting....... I've seen where putting a fury chip in disabled some on/off led's but can't remember ever hearing that it did not at least fire. If I had a schematic in front of me I could at least make a guess.
