Well I knocked out 2 of them this weekend and they're on there way back to their home. Well see how they perform once they're attached back on to the markers. In the meantime here's a pic of the style I chose to work with for my first projects.....

Before I move onto another style I want to tweek this one.... move the angle/pitch/arc to come back a little closer to the gripframe. It's comfortable like it is now but if I change it just a little it will have some 'blade' feel to it.

I like that. Those forward sloping triggers seem to be pretty popular with the electroflinger crowd these days, and as the force required to fire said electroflingers are light enough to make it plausible, it's no wonder they're popular.

Most recent.... Don't know why but I got on a roll and decided to knockout another trigger, As stated before I tweeked the arc back somewhat. It's "ok" but I have a feeling the optimum set-up is gunna be between this one (below) and the one pictured above. And while I was at it I hacked out a trigger guard from the same poly/delrin compound. Normally I would attach it by tapping threads into the gripframe because it's metal and will bare more stress than the composite.... if I reversed it and threaded the gripframe it would be a cleaner conversion but the metal screw would easily strip the threads in the composite trigger guard, UNLESS...... maybe I can use a nylon threaded screw??
We'll see.

It's possible, I don't think I put a lot of stress on any of my trigger guards, and probably cheaper to replace a nylon screw if it wears out than the whole guard if it gets rowelled out.

Are you able to take on another 2x conversion for my fluster?
Maybe near the end of june, begining of july.....
Right now I'm gearing up to:
~ Take care of our last Graduation from high school (yeah)
~ Visit my daughter who's in the USAF stationed at Goodfellow AFB, Tx.
~ Move 2 of our 3 kids from Kansas to New Mexico for College (*$igh*)
~ Locate and purchase investment property in New Mexico
~ Go to my Nephews wedding in Tahoe
~ Help my Mom move from Modesto,Ca. to Phoenix,Az.
~ Do a few repairs and upgrades around the house here.
~ And I still need to sketch out that piece for Edwin for the Viper M1

So if you don't mind waiting several weeks...... I might be able to knockout a "DIY" version sooner if there's interest?

Do it yourself.

Looks good Bob! What are you using to cut them out and then finish them?

~ Hacksaw
~ Drill
~ Dremel
~ Sandpaper/emory cloth

Maybe in 2-3 weeks when I get some of the big around the house projects done i'll get time to put a workbench in and get a few of the standard bench tools... grinder, drill press, bandsaw, sander. But for right now it's all by hand. If I have time i'll see if I can turn out a quick trigger and send it to you.
