The New Frontier
It's been reasonably peaceful for the last 3 months in Caktus. There have been some small battles around the forts limited to the "weekend warriors".

The southerners have been fairly quiet but resistance to the two main forces has been building. This is unfortunate as the southerners are known for their fierce hit and run style. Due to the recent fighting in the Salyoon area, the southerners have also been able to arm themselves with some of the latest weapons taken from small bands of Red, Blue and mercenary forces! Their jungle warfare expertise allows them to sneak in un-noticed, attack, then disappear back into the cactus and mesquite jungle - pretty much taking what they want at will.

There have been numerous reports of kidnappings, assaults, arson and harassment by the locals. These have been happening primarily in the "Caktus Triangle," the well guarded area between the two forts and the satellite communication area. The Red and Blue are constantly trying to control the satellite communications area so this is risky business for the kidnappers.

Welcome to today! Yeah, you heard if from the beginning of time or however far back you care to remember: Life Ain't Fair - Get Used To It!! War is much like life: It Just Ain't Fair! A confrontation seldom starts with equal forces, weapons or supplies. One side always thinks or worse yet, KNOWS it has the upper hand and starts tormenting the other side until a fight breaks out. And that's the way it started.....

Welcome to The New Frontier.

Damn ozzfest is the 15th.
Come on DwT..... Ozzfest?? That's soooooo over done, unless they just snagged Metallica, Godsmack or some other "A" list band for a St.Louis only gig it'll be the same 'ol stuff. Come on.... you do realize that (1.) Ozzy is not scheduled to appear at the St.Louis show. (2.) Out of the 20 bands listed to appear only 6-7 are worth spending gas money to see & hear. (3.) Yes paintball has it's less than desirable elements that attend but as a whole they're like little catholic schoolgirls compared to some of the human waste that attends your average OzzFest.....

Jesse.... here is a very simple set-up that will do the job. If you want something a little more envolved just LMK. *note* you can increase the barrel length to 22" without effecting the performance much if you prefer.

You mean the sprinkler valve ones? Those would also work but they do require 3 9-volt batteries and a quality constructed air chamber that can't take too many bumps for fear of leaks. The one in the diagram is simple and easy. Using the 12gram to charge an air chamber made of pipe is a no-brainer.... simple & durable.

Hmmm..... looking at the map I'll guess that a lot of the infantry action will be down in the lower right sector. Not too many roads but lots of creeks & gullies.
Will there be any TANKS trying to use the roads?
