bolt question.

the bolt i have in my mephy seems to be preety long. when the gun fires and recocks it pops out of the back of the gun. can i cut the extra length off of the bolt?

Well, you can cut it if you really want to. This will also reduce cycling mass so you may need to change lpr pressure. Ram buffers/edwin's spring also move the bolt foward, might help a little.

so it wont hurt the boly by cutting off some of the back of it.

You can cut it off with little to no effect.
The extra length is helpful when installing/removing the bolt.

Also helps for a quick bore clean during a match.
