When using the AOC gauge to set the pressure, if its not right and you have to pull the gauge off, Must you relieve the air pressure in the gun by dry firing after disconnecting the air tank?

Unless you want an AOC gauge in yo grill, then yes you need to release the pressure.

i thought so, i just hate having to fire it every time to relieve pressure, Anyone ever use any kind of bleeders? Check-it has a new on/off Bottom line that is supposed to have a bleed function

I'd like to know too. I always wanted a bleed system at least for working on markers.

The CP makes a nice quick bleed, though pricey, it is easy to use and easy to turn the knob, with one finger!

Only problem is that some regulators (Sidewinder, Ergo, stock reg, etc) retain air even after the air from the tank has been disconnected. It is a good idea to always fire the solenoid just to be sure that all air has been exhausted from the internals of the marker. Better safe then sorry, or as Jake would say "better safe than with an AOC cap in yo' grill!". :D

yes, i wish you could bleed all the air out i am pretty sure i will get the Check it mount to see how well it does at bleeding off air with the stock reg,

ive got a check-it unimount and the bleed-off feature on it works great. you turn the knob out to turn off the air, then countinue turning it out to bleed off the stored air. it works really well. it bleeds off all the air in the hose, and it also cleared out my stock inline. However, my new gladiator stores enough air for a single shot, so i still have to shoot it once.
