Ok, The Delrin that I ordered came in today. I have enough right now to make at least 12 triggers. If they turn out well and stuff, I'll buy more delrin. If anyone wants to send me a stock trigger ( I only need the trigger, but the frame would help too) I'll give them a free trigger. Probably won't be as nice as THEBETTERONE's would have been, but it's free and it'll be better than others. I am a perfectionist when I make stuff, so it'll be nice. I don't want to mess with the CNC mill, because all we do in out metal shop with it is like, carve words into stuff. So, I decided to use a combination of the mill, scroll saw and hand tools to make them. I'll cut out the basic shape with a scroll saw and then file it the rest of the way, and sand it so it'll be just as good, only hand made instead of machine made.
Right now, I'm just seeing what I can do. If all goes well, I'll probably sell them for about the same price that THEBETTERONE was going too...
As soon as I have a trigger (and a frame if you wanna send that too) I'll start woking on them. I'll pay shipping
NOTE: I think warped told me on ***, but I deleted that thread, so I'll ask again. What are the sizes for the set screws in the triggers?

Triggers switch activation screw: 4-40 thread x 3/4"
Trigger stop screws are either 4-40 thread or 8-32 thread x 5/16"
Trigger pin is 1/8" x 3/4" with roughly an 1/8" of knurled surface on one end
Trigger thickness is 0.301" and the tang thickness is 0.150" on center
Any other measurements you need?
BTW - www.mcmaster.com is great for all of those little screws, but they're mostly all sold in packs of 100 only. I would use SS only and not carbon steel.

nope, don't need any other measurements. everything else I can measure with a tape measure and micrometer once someone sends me a trigger. Can'tthinkofone is probably going to send me his trigger sometime next week, then I can start making them.
thanks for the measurements! I'll keep you guys updated...

Sounds cool. If you have a digital camara you should take some pics of the process as you go. I might be the only one but I think it's fun to see all the steps leading up to the finished product.

I'll do that then. The sooned someone can send me a trigger, the sooner I can start

ok, I don't really need a trigger now because we did our tournament and probably won't be doing more for a while because our mid player has a broken le (read my post in the tribals in action thread)
now, I have my trigger nd stuff to use as a model, but I got a question... on my trigger, it's got some stuff on it. looks like tin foil, but it's not. I think someone put it there to make the trigger wider so it's not so sloppy or something.. did this come stock or what? shoulc I take it off for measuring the dimensions?

That isn't stock.
Someone added that to take up side play.

wow, that was quick...
that's what I thought, because it seemed kinda ghetto... I'll take it off for my measurements then. My triggers won't have any side play, so it won't need stuff added...
I'll be starting work soon :)

well.. id buy one, but i only have a single trigger frame. If someone would be so kind as to =*:.SELL ME A DOUBLE TRIGGER FRAME.:*=(not to be persuasive or anything :Tonguer: ), i could be in the 'in' crowd....I'll take one as soon as i buy a double trigger frame(if i get a Tribal frame)

well, you could buy a double trigger from me if I make them, and then cut off the trigger guard and make a new one or soemthing...

I put that on there to get rid of the side-to-side play in the trigger. You can just use a caliper and measure on the area near the hole, no need to remove the foil tape.

ok, I'm leaving it there... I'm thinkin I'll make my triggers a lttle wider than stock, soyou won't have to mod it to be nice.
on a side note, I didn't get started today, because I got to shop class today, and realized I left the trigger at home :(
I didn't know the trigger itself only had one set screw in it... this is gonna be easier than I thought! do you guys think I should add an activation screw on my triggers?
