When was it lubed last? Do you have one of Edwin's assist springs? It sounds like it may be sticking and your little pressure is assisting it just enough. You may want to check the sticky thrreads...there is one that show what happens if you don't have a damper on your valve. Check where your pin stops when it fires (all the way forward) and see if it is being hit by the pin?

i have a damper kit and edwins ram assist spring on it it moves all the way forward, its wierd the less pressure i have the less it moves, yet when i put enough pressure through it the noid leaks and it shoots like 700 fps it makes if off into the bush at the end of our acra and its still on the way up

Did you change your dwell settings? God it's been so long since I've teched a Tribal I think I've forgotten most everything I knew. My meph. has been plugging along for four years with no adjustments other than velocity.:Tonguer:

I don't know enough about the noids but maybe you need a new one? Do you have another you can switch out to test?

well its not the barrel it can't be the bolt, it isn't the valve its not the aoc and hell it cant be the screw
i did switch the ram out with my twister and that might be the problem

Two piece ram caps are "more gooder" than the single as they actually fit in the body.
Things like this are very tricky!!!
There is only one way to truely find the problem.
TRIAL AND ERROR.
HPR have been know to do this---they can provide air some of the time but not all.
LPR may be the problem
Noid
Ram
Something stuck in the air passages of the body.
Is it an AOC? The front cap can be screwed on a little too much blocking the hole that lets the LP enter the body, essentially starving the noid.
Dwell could be a problem....turn it all the way up and see if the problems goes away.
If you swapped your Ram and you have problems now.....go back to the ram that worked.
Swap one thing at a time until it gets better.....
Is your brass valve screw backing out???? that could make the valve shift forward a bit causing lite hammer strikes.
