Okay, here is the dealio. My mephy, has fury and has been aced my warped.

Now, I use a 12v revvy w/ x-board, which should allow a decent rof. However, I can barely manage to get what I guess around 5bps on it.

Right now, I'm wondering if its;
A. something to do with dip switches
and/or
B.Blowback

All the dip switch's are down except for the very last one.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Just tested it out. 4 balls loaded, no hopper, but they all fit in the feedneck, top 2 flew out. I'm thinking thats some blowback lol. Now, how to fix it...

I'm using a delrin bolt that came stock in my twister, so I'm thinking thats it...

Andy, think we can try out some bolts over at ur house some time and see if we can't find a bolt that fits well?

I doubt blowback will have anything to do with a 5bps, unless it is actually causes the eyes not to see the ball, which it appears it may be doing.

Do you have a halo that you can borrow to test? as the Halo is a force feed system, bot gravity.

Can you try to load 4 again, and hold your finger over the top ball to give pressure to keep the blowback from moving the balls.

I have a strong feeling its blow back, cause I did it with2 balls and 1 ball and it flew off, and then with 4, 2 flew off. I mean, it could be just the bolt flying forward and pushing the 2 out, but it was really pretty slow...

I mean, its also the only thing I can think of at this moment.

It does sound like blowback to me... does it do it when the hopper is full? What is the dwell set at?



P.S. get a freakin egg or halo!

Dwell's at 16, also, all swtich's are down... So I really dunno what would be causing blowback. Pressure was at like 280 for the hpr, lpr unknown, but I know its shooting at 275-285fps.

PS: I don't really want an egg or a halo, yet.... I'll probly get one for my twister though, cause its going to be fast. :D

Does it happen when the eye are off?

I mean, lets think about it. If the eye are off and you have blowback the balls will fly up into the hopper and you will not be able to shoot maybe the next ball, but you should at least dry fire. So you shoot one ball, blowback pushes the balls up, you fire again but no ball is in the breech so you dry fire.

Try it without balls and with the eyes off. And see how many bps or cps you can get without balls or even a hopper.

Its faster with the eyes off. I had to show it to a friend just to show I wasn't a slow shooter lol (though, I can only hit around 11 myself), and I've done it before. I'll turn the eyes off, with paint, and it will become either A. a blender instantly, or if I walk for like 1 second, pulling the trigger lets say 10 times, it will shoot like 2-3 balls, max...

Then if ur cool with showing me how to make a harness, and such, I'll pay for the materials + then some... or something, favors, like making harnesses for you or something.Also, then I need ya to do the drilling + tapping for the eyes and such. Also, gotta check out this blowback issue.

Then, gotta get this timmy up and running, its just a small leak around the valve area, I might try breaking in the new poppet tomm, if I get time, cause thats what I'm thinking it is. Any thing else it could be?

On a side note, I might be buying a freestyle and halo b for 410. :D So, I really gotta get this timmy working and sell it to fund the twister project lol

Yeah, I think it just might be the quality contol on my mephy isn't great, cause its done the slow shooting thing before with a stock aluminum bolt.

The are bnib 04 freestyles. I'm not sure of what they have, but I'll looking into that. Also, the Halo comes in clear unless you want to pay more for a color.

And 410 is like an estimate price, so it might be more. I'm not sure.

Nope, meeting up with Andy later this week. Gonna find out if its really blowback or something else, but I'm like 90% sure its blowback. We'll see though, cause I'll also be getting help from him on my tx strom and getting it running perfectly, then also, working on my conquest and getting the internals cleaned and such and see if that causes it to stop creeping + not being able to be adjusted. Also, I'm gonna buy a chaos board, eye covers, and some other smaller stuff off Andy. Sounds like a fun time with him lol

I knew of one Tribal that the HPR would creep bad, and that cause the gun to shoot fine with one shot at a time, but when you ripped a little it would chop the shit out of balls. I think the reg was creeping all over the place. We put a Vigilante on it and it solved the problem.
