Stripped Trigger Frame Screw, HELP!

Bad news, I was putting my Mephisto back together and realized that my front screw hole is striped…. :soapbox: Has anyone else had this problem? What would be the best bet for fixing it? Re-tap the hole and use a larger screw?

Best fix would be to use a threaded insert (like the kind up on Blue's site).

Those also require some specialty taps and some blind hole tapping skills.

i just tapped my frame and used self tapping screws from there

Just be sure not to tap into the bottom bore - that will cause a nice leak.
