I dabble in bikes. Well, perhaps dabble is a soft term considering I own about 20 right now. Everything ranging from old cruisers to modern sport bikes.
Anywho, here's my latest acquisition that I'm in the process of turning into a sweet commuter bike/going against my natural instincts and selling. It's an 03 Triumph Daytona 955i. Three cylinders of pure British punk.

Sweet "Thumper"..... I see someone has kissed some ASSphalt with it. :)
Yeah, back in the day my brother and I used to race scrambles and some lite MX. We dabbled in some street bikes but not for real long. Racing in the dirt for a lot of years doesn't translate very well to street riding.... After a few mishaps wives drop the hammer and play the "you got kids now" card. And for the most part it was probably in our best interest.
What else yo got?

Just a few...
2002 ZX12R
2003 ZX6R
2000 ZX9R
1983 Magna V45
1984 Sabre 750
1981 KZ1000
1977 CB900 Supersport
1984 500 twin
a couple of CB750 Fours

I've had quite a few bikes over the years. My favorites are an 85 Nighthawk 650, 2003 ZX7R, and an EX250. Freak....mebbe I'm a little obsessed.
I have a hookup with a local used car dealer who can find me some really nice deals on late model sport bikes and cruisers. I fear the fleet might grow a bit over the winter....

All I had were a few Dirt Bikes, nothing special though....

Nice bike, Zumina, nice bike. Been looking for a little street cruiser for a daily driver myself (gotta love gas mileage that easily tops 50mpg) but just have way too many other things going on to really look and/or afford. *feh* Too many interests, too little time or money to appease them all.

I hear that. Some day I'll have enough of both to do what I 'think' I need to do....either that or I'll wise up and begin investing in things that last-family.

Is it locked up because the barrel scored up and got hot and ceased or is it locked up because some floating debris found a home in the gears or crank? Without spliting the cases you can't really check all the cogs or crank but you could pull the plugs & possibly the heads and see if any of the walls of the barrel have been heated up or scored. If you've tried WD40 and a long breaker bar to turn the crank my money would be on a lower case issue.

well it turned over when is was parked 8 years ago, lol rings are rusted to the bore, you can put the trans in neutral and push the bike around, kinda hard for a 165 pound guy to do with a goldwing, lol

so you've filled the cylinders with penetrating oil? Have you tried PB Blaster? I've "broken" several engines loose with it. I've also taken a wood dowel, inserted it through the spark plug hole, and lightly rapped on the piston with it.
