I need to reattach my switch wires, but I'm clueless to where they go. Yes, I did look at Edwin's drawing but it didn't help me much. I am guessing it is one of the points I have pointed out. Any help? Oh, and click the picture for a large one.

You can either solder the leads through-hole in the green traces, or directly onto the diodes (red circles). Lately, I've been soldering and heatshrinking directly to the diodes as it seems to give a bit more room under the switch when trying to put on the backplate.

See that's the thing, I took a peice of wire and held it on to both of those spot, in the green circles and in the red circles but they both were a no go.

Well in that case, it may be a fried diode that causing your troubles. You can either a) replace the fried diode or b) bypass the diode, but doing so will give you no reverse-voltage protection. That means that if you plug in your battery backwards by accident that you have the possibility of frying your board/chip.

You may be right.

Looks like a broken diode to me. :(

Edit: What diode will I need?

You will need a 1N4148 diode, available from Radio Shack. Here's more info on the problem and solution: http://airsoldier.com/technotes/technote1/index.shtml

Thanks alot Warped. Looks like it's a trip to Radio Shack.
