He's being serious on the don't burn your fingers part, I seem to do that on every soldering project I do. Anways looks good, should help out some of the new guys (hell I'll prolly learn somethin from it too) :woohoo:

yes good old soldering :D memories of burning moms kitchen table and getting grounded because of it lol

You stop burning your fingers about 2 years after you solder regularly.

You can touch solder iron tips, freashly soldered part, etc....it is just the amount of time your fingers stay on the part. I regularly wipe solder off BNC connectors with my finger....

Technically you're still burning yourself, it's just that the scars keep you from feeling it :aflame:. I brought my soldering iron with me on this deployment, good thing, cuz I had to fix a few things on my laptop haha. It's sad when you spend nearly 3 grand on a laptop and have to resolder the graphics card mounting studs on the motherboard.
