Eye replacement......

I'm working on a non-Tribal maker and need to replace the eyes. I was wondering if I could use the eyes from Edwins ACE kit (just an example). Or do I need to use the specific manufacturers product?

I don't think you will have a problem using the same "eyes" that I use, but you will need to make sure you connect everything correctly.

There is an IR LED and an IR Transistor and you need to know what goes where.

Well I don't claim to be extremely knowledgeable about but since there was a pre-existing set-up (harness, etc.) the part of what to hook where was already provided. The Tadao board has 2 seperate plug receivers for eys harnesses.... one for Dye, the other for TMC/Trauma. If eyes are pretty much eyes then my toughest challenge is gunna be building the harness and doing 'quality' sodering. The upgrade install on this marker was kinda poor.
So how much for a couple eyes??
