Well, I finally got some free time, so I finally made some decent Mephisto body milling. Check it out and let me know what you guys think.
I still have a few little things that I'd like to change before I do another one, but its mostly all there.

I like it!
How many different setups did you use?
Are you going to round the front section by the barrel?
Why do you have a turbine blade in there--going to add wings to the mephy?

Good job, bud!
Good to see you, how's your schooling these days? Did you ever finish those lower receivers?

Haven't decided on a final price yet. It takes about 3.5 hours machine time currently, and there are still some little things that I have to tweak out.
It only took 2 different setups in the mill and I think only 3 tools to cut the entire body. Haven't decided what to do yet with the front section - was going to leave it kinda blocky like that, but may change it. Like the turbine blade huh? They were handing those out a few years ago at the local community college when they had an open house. It makes a nice desk ornament. :)
School's been good, keeping me busy as hell, but going well. I did finish out the lowers, but never posted it up on my site. Maybe after next week (finals) I'll have a chance to throw something up there. They turned out freakin' beautiful though! I'm still surprised when I go back and look at them and remember that I made them myself - on the first try too! :)

I definately like it. That would be something i would send in my mephy or buy another one to get something like that done.
