Well yesterday I finally managed to get my hands on the car I've been after:

A 2007 Subaru WRX-TR in Obsidian Black Pearl. All I can say is NICE!

I'm a practical guy. I spent 2 yrs researching different cars and I could find nothing more practical than this one. I can't stand cars, let alone any product that has features that never get used, or where money is spent one thing while important things that aren't "cool" never get developed.

In all honesty, the only "american" car I would buy these days would be a Saturn, I just don't really trust any of the true american cars these days. Now trucks are a little different tho.

Anyways, off to get my lowjack installed, hehe helps keep my insurance ridiculously low! BTW you military guys, if you haven't already, check out USAA's quotes, you'd be surprised!

Well my first "upgrade" ended up being a nice Clarion head-unit. I thought about Pioneer, but I have had a horrible experience with my $400 Pioneer I have in my 240sx (likes to go to full volume randomly grrrr).

I plan on eventually putting in a full set of Infinity Kappa Composites like I did with my 240sx, along with maybe a 8" or two.

Performance wise, I'm torn between either a Borla Hush TBE or a HKS Hi-Power TBE (Turbo Back Exhaust). A COBB Accessport2 will be used for engine management, and I'm going to put on a nice Seibon Carbon-fiber hood to set the car apart from others on the road.

If work keeps going good I'm going to get this paid off eventually and get me an STI :D

An STI would be sweet indeed. I myself have high expectations for the STI I want, being that it is the JDM Spec C version I would have to import directly from Japan. So maybe I should start playing the lotto :D

I am seriously dissapointed in the 08 WRX's tho. I'm so happy I decided to pick up a 07 now. If the 08 STI is fucked up looking, I'll probably resort to finding a low mileage used 07 by the time I'm ready to get one.

Well I found out today that GM had/has a 20% share in Subaru, as GM owns (or has a large share in) Saab, and released in 05,06MY a Saab 92-X or something like that, which was a rebuilt (mainly body mods) WRX Wagon. Crazy huh?

I also have my 91 240sx sitting at home, poor thing isn't getting driven, along with a 94 Maxima I basically bought from my sister so she would have money to get another car. Long story short the Maxima destroyed the timing chain and apparently bent a few valves. I was deployed and obviously didn't need a car and had some spare cash so I bought the car. Now I just need to repair it to running level, sell it, and buy some more mods for my WRX!

Oh and don't think I'm going soft and continuing my crusade in the PWW!
