Well, since its starting to warm up, I figure its time to really get back into paintball. Right now, I can't do shit working on markers, I have no loctite, teflon tape, lube, nothing. So, I figure its time to get set up for whatever may come.

I want to make an effective and efficeint way of storing and being able to access tools on and off the feild. I figure I can use a big ol tool box with those plastic cases that people use for like fishhooks or whatever they're called.

Right now, I'm starting a list of what all I need to work on markers and such.

I have,
marker oil
metric allen keys
standard allen keys
and uhhh, thats basically it.

Red Loctite
Blue Loctite
Slick Honey (and/or dow33/55, shocker lube, etc, not sure of which to get)
2x strap wrenches
Teflon tape
soldering iron + solder (I'd liek a small one so I can solder those small little things on boards and shit)
Needlenose pliars
Screw drivers (very small like jewelers ones, to bigger ones)
Wrenches of some kinds... (eh..lol)

Eh, having a hard time coming up with stuff... Suggestions?...

...and well, i'm wanting to be able to work on whatever. Specific marker tools I won't have except for tribal ones like a ram gauge, and a 2-prong'd tool. Other markers, I won't worry about unless I really need the tools.

Orings, I'll probly get some tank orings, and then marker specific orings as I go along. I will probly make a tribal oring kit for myself. Then for screws, I'll get some tribal specific ones.

I just want to be able to have a way so I can work on stuff 99% of the time except for very specific things.

Suggestions?

My suggestion is go to Homedepot or Lowes, they will have loctite, wrenches, and all the other goodies. Well maybe not lube.

I would suggest 2 small tubes of Loctite (blue and red) a roll of teflon tape, an adjustable wrench, Dow33, needle nose and regular pliars, a set of screwdrivers from WalMart or other store, and at least a 2 prong tool. As far as soldering iron, if you expect to do any amount of quality soldering, you're going to need a quality soldeing iron and solder which is going to cost you more than you probably expected. A lot of the smaller, heater element style soldering irons heat up way too much and can burn the traces right off your board! Its alright for doing wires, but for circuit board work, its horrible. I can probably hook you up on some of the stuff, but we'll have to talk.

I would also suggests some moisty naps or a small package of kleenex, and some q-tips aren't a bad idea either. It sounds silly, but when you need one, you really need one.

I have also found that small stuff like tweezers, paper clips, a few razorblades, and bandaids are good to have around too.

And don't forget the fifth of Beam!

I have a tackle boc ful of crap. I can do anything at the field with it. Another good thing to add would be batteries, o-rings/seals, extra macroline, qtips, and I keep sunscreen in mine...

Yeah, Andy, I've got a ton of stuff that needs to get done.

1.Find and fix timmy leak (think its the cupseal) and possibly the membrane is bad, cause the buttons no longer work. :-/ And it needs screws and such. (if ya have the screws for the sideplates, I just need 2, then the membrane I can order, if not I'll order the screws too)
2.Fix Blowback (if thats what it really is) on the mephisto
3.I'll get a 2k2 conquest rebuild kit, and I may need help installing it.

Then if its cool with you, get the twister project started, mainly the wiring harness, drilling for the eyes, and maybe the polishing of the ram, and possibly the body, etc.. Then I gotta get some eblade eye covers, grub screw, and then the chaos board off of you. I'll pay ya for teh parts and then for the labor, and misc stuff.

Aiite, I'll post more later for this tool, kit, but gotta go to my dad's.

I can probably fix that timmy up for you no problem. What size are the screws? Conquests are easy to rebuild and get familiar with once you open them up. Basically the front cap, washer, spring, plunger and thats it besides the valve down inside of it.

Much <3 andy.

My conquest will not adjust pressure, really annoying, and say I shoot, and then stop, the pressure will go from 600 to ~750, and then my mephy would start leaking a very tiny bit. Should I order a rebuild kit for it, or might you have parts we could fix it with?

Then the timmy should be an easy fix, thou, I think I may need to get a new membrane pad (GAH!!!) But I'll let you take a look at it before I go drop money on parts for it.

Then the mephy should be easy, just gotta make sure its blowback, and then maybe try some different bolts in it, and if one fixes the blowback, we could trade or I'd pay for it or whatever.

Also, for a new list of stuff, I'll buy and put in a tool box
Needle nose pliars
Regular pliars
adjustable wrench
2 strap wrenches
Red loctite
blue loctite
dow33 (maybe slick honey if I can find it, might be cheaper)
Screwdrivers (small and med sized ones)
Q-tips
tweezers
Edit:teflon tape

Then I'll look into soldering irons and stuff. And get a 2-prong tool, and make my own tribal oring kit, and get some general orings for stuff.

Anything else?
