I'm getting my first tribal soon, wondering what options I have as far as LP setups go. I would rather not have to drill, tap, and plug that little hole, as I'm at school and a plane ride away from my workshop, so all I have is allen and crescent wrenches. I'm wondering what options I have for LPRs other than Edwins. They look lovely, but I really think 100+ for an LPRC is outta my price range. Is there an SCM-III or Palmer's Rock threaded compatible with a Tribal? I've seen them for Promasters, Vikings, Bushmaster, Timmies, and quite a few other markers, but don't know if any of the threads match. Any insight much appreciated.

The LPRC is probably the nicest solution. You can get cocker adaptors and put a microrock on there. Probably cost close to the same though.

Shifty has plugged that hole you refer to with a small piece of electrical tap. There should only be a maximum of 125psi at that hole.

Basically you have the two options from me, and a standard cocker LPR option that needs an adapter from Airsoldier (see above link). Mike LPR adapter requires you to remove one Grub Screw which is sometimes loctited in place, so a heat gun or torch might be needed.

The LPRC is the easiest to install and there is nothing to do but remove the AOC, and insert the LPRC.

If you have a cocker LPR laying around then the LPR Adapter from Mike is the cheapest solution.

Unfortunately, paintball isn't economical and Tribals, though economical to purchase, are just as expensive to upgrade to tourny level.

Alright, so the tribal came today (thanks 8-ball) and I did a teardown, lubed it up, and reassembled it. It all went smoothly, got all the old grease off and new grease on, but two questions:

The AOC cap has been replaced with a LPC. Do I tighten and loosen this chamber to adjust the AOC pressure?

Is there a place to buy spare cupseals? Mine's looking just a little... broken in.

No the AOC cap is just a cap and the LPC is just a cap with extra air volume. To adjust the Low Pressue usnig the AOC you should download the manual (see above link) and adjust as stated in the manual.

P.S. Good Luck!!!! The AOC is a bitch to work with. I hope you have a set of gauges.

*lol*...... old Cocker habits die hard. (tinkerers can't help but tinker) That's the same marker I just went thru about 7/8 weeks ago, it shoulda been good to go. AOC's are a pain to set even when you have the gauges and you've done a couple 100. No 2 AOC's react the same to adjustments, nor do they fit the same marker the same. Save yourself the multiple headaches and get one of Edwins aftermarket products. I prefer the TILPR
