You're gonna like it, bud. I don't think any of the manufacturers we have who make stuff for Tribals AND post in here make anything bad.

makes me feel good.. and i just bought this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7141037267&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

so i'll shortly be buying a tub from i think its CDarnell w/ WhitedogPaintball?
anyway.. i have a question about this frame:

Will my battery board fit into it? or will it just have to 'rest' in there?- could that hurt anything- i figure that the battery will hold it in place pretty securely..?

its not the battery board you need to worry about.........its the trigger switch mount.

well.. i just paid, so we'll see if it works or not.

If it doesnt, what can i do? drill out new holes?

i actually had to mount a piece of plexiglass in the frame.
you have to get the switch to hit the trigger..... so you actually put small screws threw the microswitch holes to mount the switch to the plexiglass then to the frame.

its gonna suck ill let you know that now

I already sent payment for the tub. i'll let u know if i need help.

If i drilled out the correct size holes, in the correct place w/a drill press, could i just use the same pins that hold the switch out of my tribal? I know it would be in a different location than on my tribal, but idk. i think i could make it work..

The problem with the Angel frames is that there is no material to mount the switch where you need it. Originally the switches were mounted on the board, so no location has been made for them in the frame. You'll need to make a small plate (I use .75x.75 aluminum) and tap a 2-56 hole in it and another hole in the top right corner of it. Tap a 4-40 threaded hole in the frame to mount the plate and then use a 2-56 screw to mount the switch to the plate. Then you'll have to adjust the switch to the right angle to get the right trigger pull you want.

Neither do I. I need to learn though. Luckily for me, I like like 20min or something away from andy (warped) so I'm going to have him do the drilling + tapping for eyes on my twister (which will end up better than his :dodgy: soon enough), well, maybe once I learn I won't need him again... or maybe I will, who knows. All I know is whenever I get over to his house (if its cool with him) I'm gonna need to bring a fat wad of cash, cause I need a bunch of help + parts from him lol.

I can never turn down cash! Plus I can finally share some of my expertise with working on markers. It'd be cool to finally have someone around me that knows what the heck is going on, ha!

Warped and CDarnell, I'll try to catch one of yous guys to do this for me. Whoever is cheapest. I will send my Frame, and tub as soon as i recieve them.

That reminds me cdarnell, does your tubs come w/ screws?.. if not, i'll have to find some that fit both my frame and my tub..

Yeah, I remember something about becoming a harness bitch ;)

I really just want you to know how much I appreciate this andy, that you are going to help me with all this, even though you'll be getting a pretty penny. Just want to say thanks. I have no school the 25th-3rd, so any time in there we can get some crazy shit going down.

Eh, that's a really weak break lol... Suxorz :ThumbsDo:

But anywho, we can do something thursday after school is out for me (2:30), friday (couldn't get over till like 5), saturday (all day), then monday (again, not till like 5ish)

Whatever works for ya.
I might need to get a membrane for the timmy, so we might have to set everything through the trigger lol, but I think its just a minor leak, I'm not too sure though. Then as for teh conquest, you think just cleaning and replacing oring will fix it, or should I order a rebuild kit? Then the mephy needs to find a good fitting bolt so the blowback goes away. Then we can do the harness stuff, and I'll buy a chaos board, eye covers, grub screws, magnets, and the harness parts off ya, or make harness to pay them off, or whatever. LMK :P

Ok back on Topic!!!

Bakerboy, I didn't partial ship because I needed to make a AOC for you. I thought I had one left, but the thread OD was a little to small so I figured I should make one that had the correct .808" OD. Sorry, but your order is a little on hold. It still should ship this week and it will ship complete as I should have my barbs in this week too.

bakerboy4679
03-21-2005, 02:42 PM
ok thats fine. im mostly worried about my frame and tub combo..
I really would rather not ship it back out, but i think i might have too, to get the microswitch put in right..

Anything you guys could do would be much appreciated. I'm hoping it will fit.

Has anyone already made one? could you jsut make me one that i can install simply?

Edwin

I think Craig (cdarnell) is the best person for that mod. I would be happy to help, if he is unable. I don't have that set up here, so it would be hard for me to make something and send it to you for installation. You would have to send me everything in order for me to even think about helping.
