I have been playing with my new addicted for the last 6 months and it has treated me very well. However it is definitly not all it could be.

I play on 3 round burst whenever possible becuase I love rec ball, but After the second shot on the burst it seems the third ball is shot out much slower than the other two and with less accuracy.

During chrono tests the velocity of the ball would vary 50-70 fps.

Keep in mind I want to keep the addicted as stock as possible but would the LPR mod give me a more consistant velocity and possibly accuracy?

I had a twister with the LPR mod that I sold and noticed that a hole had to be drilled in the side of the gun for the air nipple. So I guess what Im wondering is should I put an LPR on the addicted and if so, who should I talk to?

The regs, both high and low, are usually the first things on a Tribal to get replaced, as the stock ones are not terribly impressive. If you want to keep it as stock looking as possible and don't want to back a possibly Loctite'd tiny as grub screw out of a hole, I strongly, STRONGLY suggest Edwin's TILPR - Tribal Internal Low Pressure Reg (http://www.tribal-paintball.com/products.html). Even the mentioned tap and grub screw is not totally necessary, as usually a small wad of teflon tape is enough to plug up the hole just fine. Yeah, it's not perfectly stock, but people would have to look very closely to identify it as non-stock, and it's externally adjustable.

And, after having said all that, it may not be your AOC that is starving that last ball with low recharge. It could very well be the stock Tribal inline HPR that is not keeping up. For yet another better option that keeps the stock look, go find a used Ergo Reg from Worr Games - it's not 100% the same, but it has the general lines of the Tribal inline, with higher performance and usually a low selling price ($20 - $30 for a good shape used one).

Thanks ! That internal LPR would be perfect for a still stock look. I do have a few extra HPR's that I will mess with to see which reg is causing the problem.

thanks again !
