i'm assuming that i have to connect the + side of the led to the wires coming from the board and the - to the microswitch. is this correct? and the longer leg of the transmitter/reciever is the postive side right?

thanks for your help

If Im understanding you right, no. The emitter and reciever (+/-) on the eyes will connect to the board. The board will connect to the micro switch and to your micro board. Here is a wiring pic courtesy of edwin.

Here is your ace board labeled courtesy of edwin.

sorry should have specified that i'm using a 2007 chaos board not edwins ace board. the universal chaos harness has a total of three wires on one pin for the microswitch (one to the micro switch and the other two for the transmitter and receiver), and another 2 pins on the harness for the other side of the transmitter and receiver.

heres how it should be wired up.

my main question is should the positive side of the transmitter and receiver be connected to the microswitch wires or the wires coming from the board for the transmitter and receiver. basicly what i'm asking is the transmitter and reciever polarity sensitive?

thanks
