alrighty i just aquired a virgin mephisto ( i used to have a fluster and an addicted back in the day) i do not plan on milling it. However i have also aquired an original morlock board and want to put eyes in it, i have talked with warpedmephisto about drilling it for eyes already.
what i am needing is some very plain jane black eye covers, any ideas.
also what kind of eyes should i use, break beam, reflective or what.

well i just got the morlock board and am thinking about putting it in now...board sitting at home.
i have never installed eyes on any marker, how hard will it be to do, is it just simply soldering onto the posts on the eyes? do i need to heat shrink around it?
also whatother upgrades should i look at, it is all stock...should i do the magnetic trigger, ram spring, polish internals, new bolt etc...
thanks

well i think it is going to just get the morlock board for now, are eyes necessary for higher rof's with these.
i have heard they do alright about not chopping.

You can always put eyes in later if you don't want to mess with it now, just make sure if you have the semi ROF uncapped that you put some serious paintfeeder on top of that beast. I'm going with the um... Timberwolf made the chip, can't remember it... hang on, gotta Google this... Fury! That's it, Fury chips. Anyway, I'm putting Fury chips in all of my "appear to be stock, but really aren't" Tribals and not tapping them for eyes. I'm just going with either Halo's or other high rate of feed feeders for them all and staying mostly off the trigger. Just can't bring myself to put eyes into these beauties I have.
However, if you want to play some serious tourney ball and don't mind if you put holes in your Tribals, I'd say go for the eyes. Even the high end paintfeeders these days have their "hiccups" and then you're hosed 'til you can clean out the entire upper tube.

i'm kind of trying to keep the stock look. if it ends up being a blender i will do the eyes.
