An abused Fluster...
Looks a bit better now. I pulled that spyder reg off immediately and got the JB weld off and cleaned it up a bit. Obviously will need some ano.. :\ Contrary to it's looks, it holds air and shoots just fine.

A slightly less abused chrome BBT. Completely disassembled and in bags when I got it. Slowly getting it back to health but it's the opposite of the other. It looks decent but has a lot of issues.

Shame on that Fluster, but definitely fixable with a quick dip in the anno bath. And that Chrome BBT 2.2 is just too damned pretty for words. I'd be so tempted to find a WGP Ergo reg in chrome to replace the stock, and replace the AOC with Edwin's TILPR (after a trip to the chrome plater) and show everyone how well old school electro's look and fling.

Yeah, I checked Edwins parts and a chrome one wasn't listed. I guess he didn't want to make a bunch because there are just way too many chrome tribals out there. :) I know the AOC is out of whack and something externally adjustable would be easy, but my experience has been that if you can get the AOC dialed in, you never really need to mess with it. A LPC might be nice though... I'll have to think on it... heh. My main problem is that I don't want to beat up that BBT more than it already is so it probably wouldn't be a regular shooter for me.
I was wondering on ano... I actually used to have a decent ano setup but I broke it down. Just didn't use it enough to warrant the space... anyway... I was wondering if it's possible to "touch up" ano. I've never tried it. 99% of the body is anodized and sealed. That one slot is bare aluminum. I wonder if cleaning up that slot then ano -> black dye would be a possibility... I suspect any scratches in the gold might get invaded by some black... hmm...

No idea, sadly, never done anno myself.

_MaD_,
What's the serial on that Chrome BBT? I may know someone who used to be a TOGite who might pay well for that marker.

Chrome BBT is 2586. Fluster is 1867.
Thanks to some of the awesome folks here and a part or two from the Fluster, the BBT is almost whipped back into shape... Really in no hurry to get rid of it...
