FINALLY closed on the house and got most of our stuff moved in. Still need to replace carpet, paint some walls, etc... but we are finally out of that FN apartment!!! Maybe it's me but I can't figure out why anyone with at least 2 dozen braincells would choose to live in a $1000 a month 2bd 2ba, 900 sq ft apartment when they could pay the same (or less) for a 3/2 1400sq ft (or lgr) house? I don't kno.... at least I can play with my pb stuff now!!

*LOL*.... this is the 12th house we have purchased. The shortest time we owned was 10 months and the longest was 6.5 years.

Damn....it might be better to rent as you're always fighting against closing costs in short term financing......

Maybe this time you will settle in for a few years.

wow I'm for sure staying around here then... my sis's house she was buying was $400 for a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen/dining room, 2 living rooms (or well that's what they had it made into) and at least a couple other rooms I never looked at.. and they had a huge shop/garage that could have held a few cars and still had room and a nice fenced in back yard... how much does something like that go for around there?.. I really liked that house :confuse3:

*LOL*..... I have a house in Lubbock out at Buffalo Springs Lake just sitting there empty. My mort on that is 750/mon. In Tempe we just finished paying 850/mon for a 2 bdrm 1 ba apt that was aprox 800 sq.ft. And we just finished purchasing a bank foreclosure property recently in Maricopa, Az. (25mi south of Tempe).... 5 bdrm 3 ba for only $145k (1100/mon). The same house in Phoenix as a regular 'resale goes for around $300k.
So depending on where you wanna live and/or work you could pay a little or a lot.....

Haha. Mobile homes (Read: Trailer Trash) around here costs no less than $189,000 for a beat up 1970's faulty wiring, poor insulation piece of shit.

Most homes range from $300,000-$600,000 and there are quite a few worth $1,000,000 or more.

Huh... Mobile homes go for almost 200k up there?? wow! As for the other end down here we have Scottsdale and the surrounding area, it's pretty common to see stuff in the 3,000,000+ range. But I guess if you want Alice Cooper as a neighbor that's what you pay... *lol*
