Alright, I have not posted in a while(see 2004ish) but it might be time for a rant. This is direct response to: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2682131
Read....read....read....and you realize that it is kindof funny. However what is not funny is diving into a back bunker.
Ok, mind you, this might be abit new schoolish for the tribal clan but it is a growing concern.
Diving off the break may make for a great picture oppertunity:

However, it is very inefficent. Imagine this, 3,2,1...go.. run, dive, get up, shoot. And all this into a back bunker, that is no more than a few steps away.

But, when a person can run, shoot, run, shoot into a corner without diving:

This Brotato will shoot you in the face as you get up, and then bonus ball you off the field(atleast I will)
There is a problem. Now it might be easy to say, "Hey it is easy for a small guy to make it to a corner shooting off the break, but for us big fluffy guys, we need to slide/dive/flop into a back bunker to make it safe and sound." But I say to that, "Lose some weight." ....And "Run faster." But that doesn't mean you can't

into a corner and shoot for the majority of the run.

God this is taking way to long on dail up. It would be mighter funny if I was able to get the correct images uploaded in a timely fashion. So I give to you a half ass attempt at funny. Regardless if you can not run to a corner shooting and not get shot, atleast have the fat on your body for all the shots to be bounces.

Damn you Jake..... against my better judgment I went to PBN and read thru all 6 pages. That's 5 minutes of my life I won't get back you bastard. *lol*
Seriously tho, it was semi-amusing for a page or two. So what's with the diving issue tho?? If some tubby or skinny ballers wanna dive into a bunker what's the prob. Hell, if some dipshit wants to jump down on the dirt in front of the breakout box and be a "sniper" I say let 'em. Put 3-5 balls into the top of his noggin and he'll probably stop. Same with the back bunker divers.... once they get shot out enough times while diving they'll quit. Now if you're have trouble hitting the chubby divers maybe they're onto something.
I can tell you from experience as a portly backdude you do whetever it takes to make yourself a smaller target. I'd normally do the walking crouch and fire when moving to close bunkers. But if I had to go towards the tapes I'd run as fast as I could and baseball slide in. It allowed me to become a smaller/lower target while watching the field. At the end of the slide you just plant your lead foot and pop up behind the bunker ready to shot, or surprise everyone and go onto the next bunker. Not bad for an old fat-dude....

but dives make life fun, like supermaning it over the edge of the snake, or rather watching someone else do it and watching them chase thier hopper before it goes outof bounds XD
