Pretty easy actually...
The ion I got with a bad board but had a 360 QEV, stiffi barrel, clamping feedneck, direct mount asa, detonator hpr, a decent after market trigger

I had to buy the sub mini valve, T-fitting (came with the different size hoses needed), warrior bolt with the 2 tail orings

This is how I have my valve mounted.....

As you can see the front barb on the valve is the exhaust, the second barb goes to the QEV in the middle, back barb goes to the T-fitting that goes to the Banjos.

As you can see , literally you can't see any modifications

I did play with this with CO2 (doesn't like it but functional), as well as compressed air (my choice). It actually fires extremely fast considering (no walking). To the point the guy was trying to say I over shot him with ramping (haha).
No not possible , made him feel like an ass after I had to show the ref the inners. I shot him out with a Mech Ion, while he had a (insert new version) ego, DM8 whatever the hell it was they all look the same to me now.
The look on his face made me a very happy man... lol ..... I laugh every time I think of it.

Indeed a lot like the commercial.......

Ion with upgrades....... 115.00
parts to make mechanical..... 40.00
going to play paintball for a day.... 35.00
shooting out pre-madonna with a 1300.00 gun ...... PRICELESS!!!!!:ROTFLMAO:

Any dwell-time issues? Does the trigger auto-return from air pressure or is there a spring in there or did you add one?

Myself and another gentleman had started a MechTribal project, but sadly, our interest waned and it went nowhere.

No dwell issues with compressed air .... CO2 does have some but functions.
How close the valve is laying on the trigger so the valve keeps the trigger pushed out.
When pulling trigger activates valve, when let go the valve pushes back to the trigger start position.

Know the feeling... after reading this I just remembered that I have a mech bushie project in a box somewhere around here.

Anyway, good stuff shifty! Glad you found a decent use for one. :)
