I would assume there would be threading at the back, where the ram screws in the gun correct?

Correct. It's not shown for ease of modelling and compatibility with STEP and IGES file types.
I can send STEP and IGES files to the machinist with a PDF detailing the threading and it assists in the programming for CNC applications.

Looks pretty sweet.....
It appears that the ID of the ram is slightly larger (based on shaft dia) and that the hammer is fairly non-existent. So the increased volume will create enough force to open a stock valve/spring configuration or will a softer valve spring be required? I can certainly see where this design will cycle many times faster than the stock one. Should make for an awesome upgrade!

I will buy several when they are done to check them out

Yeah the shaft has a larger O.D. than that of a stock ram. The stock ram uses a 0.242" O.D. and the Rammer design is 0.380" O.D.
Because of the overall diameter of the Tribal ram and the length of the Tribal body I was able to make a few newer modifications to this Rammer design including extra guide length to prevent any "wobble" that may occur at the longest part of the stroke. I also included a little longer GBR mechanism that I am unsure how it will react.
In theory it should make the forward and rear strokes very smooth. This is why I plan on prototyping it.
The Rammer itself is slightly lighter than the stock hammer (no ram shaft). The stock hammer being 31.0g and the Rammer being 29.4g. That being said I recommend using a true LPR and a board that can do 8-12ms in dwell, otherwise you may need to drop your main pressure by a LOT (sub 200psi) under the assumption that the dwell of a Tribal is higher than 12ms.

Early in our 'hay-days' here I think Andy was doing some polishing and porting and actually got one of his Tribals running at 60 lpr and 160 hpr..... Not positive tho.

I do recall Harbinger[TG] had a Bushy that ran around 150psi HPR and 30psi on his LPR. Not sure how that worked. He said it was terribly inefficient like that but it shot so softly it was smoother than a spoolie.
*edit* Anyone talk to Edwin lately? What's going on with him?

Are you guys interested in separate LPR gauge back caps? It'd be a back cap that extends out the back of the ram and you can put a 1/8th NPT gauge on it to measure the LPR pressure. It'd cost a small amount more, and I can do it as a production thing. Chances are the Prototypes will come with one for debugging purposes. No gauge would be supplied though.

Any idea on the cost? I know it would be cheaper if more were made, but whats it looking at right now? I would be interested in one if it wouldn't kill my wallet.

Right now, I am having some prototypes machined. There are a few questions about the design that don't sit well with me. I changed a few things and I need to know for certain that they will work. If they don't, I do have workarounds for each issue to ensure that these will be great rams.

Here is what the LPR gauge addition looks like installed in the ram:

Here is the floor plan for the pull pin. :)
You will notice there is some internal threading. That is so that you guys can put a set screw or a screw in there so you can attach any "personal flare" that you might want to the top of the pin. :2thumbup:
*Edit* Whoa-wheee! It's a good thing I just posted this... Heh - I noticed a design flaw. *Grumble, now I have to re-issue the drawings*

The price is in. Don't know what the shipping will be but I can definitely offer these for $50 USD (+/- probably less) each...
That's for the rammer, housing, end cap and pull pin.
I will update more when I know more details.

O.K. here's the deal. My price break is at or around 54 units of these.
If I can get interest for 27 of these, I will order 54 or them and sell them at a 2 for 1 rate which will allow for good distribution and also save on shipping costs.
What this means if I can get you guys to commit to 27 or so, you will get two for the price of one, four for the price of two and so on and so forth. :woot5:

Oh and the Prototypes are coming! :)

Bug, quick note...does your ram body have the thread "built in", or is the threaded area attached to the bolt body???
The reason why I ask is...some Tribal Bolts are two piece (Body with a threaded end cap that attaches with a Socket Head Cap Screw). The reason I think they are like this Marker Body Tube is not concentric with the ram threads....all I can think it that it was shitty machining.
Please get some other opinions from TOG members to make sure I am correct, as I am doped up on codine, after 2 days of working in the yard moving 12 yards of dirt, cutting sod, moving landscap bricks, etc. Don't you just love Canada...visited my relatives...and came home with 100 count...I think they changed this law, but it was always nice getting good meds over the counter.
Peace out to a Canadian Brother.

Hahaha. Yeah we have relatively cheap meds here. Just don't over do it. I rarely take aspirin for head aches.
Anyways, I'll send you the drawings and PDFs if you shoot me your email and you can take a took at it.

Yeah I talked to cs900 on PbN. He offered some very good suggestions. So now, I am essentially going to change up the plans a tad bit to make the machining cheaper (but still operate just as well).
I just gotta find the time. I've been working out in the jungle/bush/woods/forrest/whatever lately and I don't get very much home time. So it'll be a bit longer.
*Sigh*
