First thanx for this site. I've been out of pb for about 8 yrs and have decided to rvive my twister flame. I'll try and post a pic and more details about it after I'm off the clock. But I'm wondering if there are any mods a veteran tribal owner would suggest I preform. I never really got to play with it because myocal field never had compressed air. So I really don't know if it's a gas hog or anything of that nature. I also have an autococker sr that has been a dog scence the day I took it out of the box I was thinking about making a frankenstine gun out of it and the tribal. Anyone have an idea if it's possible or just a pipe dream? Thanks again

Welcome..... we've hit kind of a quite stretch here but things should perkup a bit with new posts, members and projects.
The first things most of us that have owned Tribals for a while suggest is:
1. New hpr. The stock one uses some soft brass and has never really ever been consistent for anyone. My favorite is the old wgp cocker hpr that adjusts internally, they're cheap and do a good job. Another good one is the Ergo, not much more than the old wgp reg and it looks and works well with the Tribal.
2. Ditch that AOC (stock lpr) for one of Edwins after market set-ups. You'll be very happy you did.
A couple of other things that are nice to have are........
~ Clamping feedneck (Edwin)
~ Rocket Valve (Maddman)
~ Chaos board
~ Top Secret mystery RAM (spitlebug)

Nice I ve been a cocker fan sence day one so I should have some spare parts laying around. I'll start with that untill I can afford to order the rest. Thanks for the info. Still working on a pic but I have discovered an 8 pin dip switch, it's got wrap around grips and a single trig.

Computers are the devil:Nervous:

Well if you're also a Cocker buff like several of us here (me included) it might be a lili cheaper to go to Air Soldier Products and pick-up a Tribal LPR adapter. If you have a spare Cocler lpr laying around that is the least expensive way to handle your aoc/lpr issue. You will however need to also pick up the little barbed nipple that needs to take the place of the front grub screw, and run a short piece of lp line from it to your lpr. I'll see if I can find a pic of a Tribal with one already installed for you to see......
Here's DwT's (dances with tribals) custom fluster.... aside from all the cool custom parts he's got on here there is an ASP lpr adapter with a Palmers mini Rock (i believe). You can see where the lp line runs in this pic kind of...

Thanks again adapter is On it's way. You wouldn't happen to know what size threds I need on the hose barb leading in too the marker? Also how the he'll do I load a pic. I am willfully ignorant on the computer front so I don't have a clue how to do it. I would like to show off my ugly beauty when I get her put together it's not nearly the specimen above but I'd like some one to see it in all it's glory. That is someone other than the kids with guns more expensive than my car that I will soon be mopping up with the beast. :buttrock:

To post pics you need to upload them from your computer to an image host site (ie; photobucket or imageshack). Once hosted you just need to cut-n-paste the pic properties tag. It's usually there below the thumbnail pic or you can "view" your pic then right click on the pic and scroll to the properties tab....
copy what you see and the place it HERE , between the HTML tags where it sez "HERE". then just post..........
The threads for the hose nipple that replaces the grub screw in the front is 8-32, Edwin has them if you can't locate any.

Glad I'd could help you out BW......
As for hpr/lpr try 220/100 (respectively), Maybe start with the dips set so you're at 16 or 17 ms on the board. Ultimately you'll work toward the Tribal utopia settings of something like; 190/hpr, 90/lpr, board at 14ms and shooting 270+fps over the chrono. Realisticly....... you'll be doing good with 200/100/14 (or15) and shooting 270.
