This is more of a question about the Bushmaster, but the thought has crossed my mind to play around with the solenoid on the addicted.
What is the benefit of using one of the humphrey solenoids over the old skinner solenoids? I have noticed that AKA and ICD are both using the Humphreys now.
Whats the 411, yo?

I think they are just easier to get then using a Noid from Japan!!!
I am not sure about flow or anything, but I think you can speed up your Tribals by running the parker noid at a higher voltage.

I think they have some better flow characteristics and are able to cycle faster (reason why AKA switched from MAC to Humphrey) but I have no legit evidence of either. Best thing would be just to try it out with a high speed video camera and see exactly what the differences are, but that takes time and money.

I see.
I guess I am still wondering if it would be worth the extra money to buy the humphrey noid and manifold for the bushy (about $120) and do some kind of mod for the addicted ($70 plus machining and labor).
I will have to look into it a bit.

just a thought... dont do anything to the addicted except show it the love it deserves, there are far to few of them left and if you want to do major upgrades to a gun get another.
