so i got a new tribal and it breaks paint..

well its a mephy..idk anything else about it.. and it breaks paint like no other!!!

its also very inconsistant!

i dont really want to put an lpr on it or lpc.. i dont even know why i bought it....i guess cuz it was cheap! lol

is it choping, breaking in the barrel, what?

first thing to do when it's breaking in general, are make sure the paint isn't really old and really crappy; check the detents; then check pressures and stuff like that

Most likely the HPR needs to be reworked. Is it a stock HPR??? Do you have another HPR you can use to test???

Do you know what pressures your running at??? HP and LP???

also make sure the bolt is clearing the feedneck when it is back

well im goin ballin' again tomorrow, so i guess i'll just turn the reg down a lot and see if it breaks paint.. and the paint is new, the bolt clear the neck, and my detents are fine..

im pretty sure the paint is breaking when the bolt hits it.. is there any other way to turn down the forward push of the bolt besides the screw thats on the reg?

It really sounds like the Marker needs a "once over" Someone that is experienced to go through the whole marker and just it out and tune it up. As the breaking balls could be due to a few things, like HPR spikes to hopper not feeding fast enough, and the consistancy could be from several thing, like the HPR, Ram, Noid, Bolt bore..... ....pratically the whole gun.

Tribals are great markers when they work properly, but when they are having trouble they are shit! This might be the reason why you got it so cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!
