Need to mill

I'm trying to get my BBT Milled as fast as i can now. I now want to do it myself- I'm asking for directions on how to do it.

I've experimented w/ grinding/sanding, getting it smooth(Spyder Imagine)..

but i want this done right ! anyway. . any help on:

- How deep i can go(into the bolt housing, i'm guessing only to the bottom of the bolt houseing? ** i dont want to expose any important parts**

- How far forward i can go forward, w/o having problems (towards the feedneck)

-How should i go about cutting the majority off? Hacksaw, jigsaw, bandsaw, side-grinder, dremel? - i have access to just about anything!

If i think of anyother questions, i'll just edit this post, or make a new one..

Well all of the tools that you mention would not be my first choice. I would use an actual mill to do all the work. Between here and on *** there are pictrures of modded Tribals. I would look there for ideas. As for actual dimensions, I couldn't tell you because I haven't done any milling yet. Furthermore, do go screwing up a nice BBT if you don't have to!!!! Remember there are only 3000 Tribals out there, not 3 million like spyders. You already have something very unique, don't go fucking it up with a damn hacksaw or a dremel.

There are only a few Tribals I would fuck with like that..... ....and those are the Tribals that are damaged already, and milling on them would do no harm because they need work anyway.

yea, the tool you want to use for milling would be a mill...

Ehh. i mean I'd love to do it.. but idk if i wanna risk it on my one-and-only working tribal.. maybe i'll just keep it as-is..

I'm about to send it off to get it Anoed, possibly within this month, a beautiful blue.. heres an example of the color i want:

I've decided not too
but i was definatly going to mill it first.. thats why i was so 'rushed' for time.. but now i see that its 'more better' to keep it looking like it is..

I wanted to mill mine for a while, but then I realised that my twister in in really good shape, so I'm gonna keep it the way it is. I'll buy a cheap/broken tribal someday and screw around with it if I want

yeah.. thats maybe what i'll do.. i just recently Emailed a dude looking to buy one. He said it was in crappy condition anyway,(he sold it alredy).. so i'll just have to wait untill i see another one..

That's the best --- mill the Tribals that are in shitty condition so you don't mess up nice ones!!!!
