My friend has a Tribal BBT. We went to the field and it just died.I changed the battery and i can hear the solonoid cycle, but the power light will sometimes turn on when i shoot the trigger a lot(the red light). ALso, the bolt wont lock into place and no air will cycle through. BTW, I generally hate semis's and electros (with the exception of vm-68's and rainmakers) but the tribal is one of the best guns ive ever shot.

Loose connections or the plastic insulator between the grip frame and body are two things that come to mind.

not wishing to revive a dead thread, but i see no need making a new one. i have the same problem, my bolt will not lock and will only fire in the forward position at a lowered velocity, anyideas and how i would go about fixing it?

that what happens when you get no sleep...sorry.
ok, my gun will not fire properly. When the bolt is in the back postition, a tiny bit of air will come through, not even enough force to propel it out of the barrel and the bolt will not move. However, if i move the bolt into the forward position, it will fire and reset the bolt to the back but it will fire at a lower velocity (170-190ish). by locking i mean the bolt will move freely when it is gassed up...which it didnt do before (at least to the best of my knowledge) sorry for confusing you, i hope this made a bit more sense.
Thanks,
Ken

Sounds like your AOC/LPR isn't letting any air to the solenoid. Either that or the solenoid is malfunctioning. Are you sure the bolt pin is sitting in the hammer groove?

So was it the bolt pin then... or do I have to ask? :)
