OK quick question does the warlord default to a slower semi mode when it doesnt sence paint as in dry firing?

Yep, it limits down to 4 bps when no paint is detected. That goes for both the reflective eye and BBE setups. If using BBE, be espcially careful of covering the back of the black eye component since it isn't a sealed component. It IS sunlight sensitive. The reflective eye is sunlight sensitive too, but its sealed in an epoxy shell so you only have to worry about it if you have a clear hopper and its really sunny out.

Just slide the bolt forward with no air on it, and you get the effects of it if it had paint in it.
