Before the Tribal Select Fire line of fully automatic markers, this type of firepower could put you back $1200 or more. Now you can toss those clunky looking foreign guns for less than half the price. The BBT models offer a clean design with techno-style anodizing while the Fluster incorporates a rougher and more aggressive styling that truly lives up to the Tribal name. Fully Automatic up to 13-Shots per Second with a 11.2 oz. trigger pull, your Tribal will bring your competitors to their knees without straining a muscle. The adjustable electronic trigger allows you to choose between single shot, 3 shot burst, 6 shot burst and full-auto modes all with the flip of a switch. Incredibly, all of this is fueled by a regular 9 volt battery. The sound this marker makes on the field, firing at 13+ shots per second will send a chill down your opponents spine.

Here are some common problems and fixes for the tribal line of paintguns.

Problem 1: Gun leaks from vents above the grip frame.
Cause: AOC is set to high.
Fix: Turn AOC down. Follwow instructions from manuel or http://www.airsoldier.com

Problem 2: Gun cycles but does not shoot.
Cause: AOC to low.
Fix: Turn AOC Down. Follwow instructions from manuel or http://www.airsoldier.com

Problem 3: Gun hogs gas.
Cause: AOC to high, Dwell to high, or a combination of the two.
Fix: First turn the Dwell down (it is easyer to adjust the dwell than the AOC) if this does not work, lower the presure on the AOC. Be sure to check velecity after adjusting the setting.

Problem 4: Low velocity
Cause: The AOC may be to low, but more likely the dwell is not set high enough.
Fix: Turn the Dwell up

Problem 5: Inconsistant velocity.
Cause: Poor Stock Reg
Fix: Take apart the reg, clean it, then put it back together. Some tribal stock regs work well, but a large precentage of them don't. If a good cleaning does not help, a new reg may be needed. Air America Vigilante regs work well.

This covers the basics. It is important to maintain your tribal. Lube the Ram and set the AOC before you take it out to play. The tribal is a very reliable gun once it is set correctly. If you have any other problems with a tribal PM ME262 or Have Blue(or anyone else in this forum), We will be glad to help you.

Something else people need to know about Tribals.

S/N Started at 1000, and stopped at 4000 or there abouts.
We have never seen any less than 1000 and none over 39xx. So there is less than 3000 Tribals available.

100 2.2 Addicted
Few Dozen 2.2 Chrome BBT
Couple 2.2 Chrome Fluster
I hear of a Chrome Addicted, but no proof just words passed through email
Few 2.2 Flusters

Twisters are the lightest.

ok i may sound a little stupid here but here goes. i have been working on and playing paintball for 10 years and i have never came across a marker i could not fix. basically i am a cocker man though . a few years back i saw one of these totally tricked and thought it was awsome. i never bought one cause i was a cocker fan and only played woodsball. being that is a thing of the past i need to start thinking speed so i came back to my thinking a few years ago (that tribal was bad).

none the less i bought one used and it has some problems so i need advice

this is the pretenses i bough it under per the seller

This BBT is almost all stock. It has a centerflag guage on it, and the ram has been polished, but everything else is stock. The single trigger is very short and nice. The stock regulator is on it, but I never used it on the gun so I don't know if the performance is very good or not. I did test to make sure it works. The electronics have full auto, semi, and 3 or 6 shot burst, adjusted through dip switches, and it runs of a nine volt.

Cosmetically, the marker is in very good shape. There are no deep scratches or gouges, but does have signs of wear. The gun works, but has two problems. First, it has first shot drop off. If it hasn't been shot for a few days, the first shots after airing up just make the solenoid click, but then after about 5-10 of those, it starts shooting, and is good for a day of playing. This is probably from a sticky ram, or possibly a solenoid spool needing to be replaced, but it does work as it is. The other problem is that the electronics and wiring have had some problems in the past, and needed to be repaired. The electronics work fine, but are a little messy in some spots. Everything else in the gun is fine. Overall, the gun is working okay, but with a little work and tuning it could reach it's top performance. All it needs to play is a Macroline fitting on the regulator, and a bottomline asa.

now should i even waste my time trying to fix the issues it may have right now? The reason i ask this is i have read that these things are capable of 24 bps with a different board and can be tricked out really nice...the one i saw supposedly had low pressure mods, eyes, new boards, trigger and what not.

i want to totally trick this out but do not know where to even begin so i figured you guys are the experts i might as well ask. out with the cockers and in with the electronics so i am a little lost here (never messed with an electric gun in my life)
