was there ever a desire among the Tribe to have a tubless mod similar to the B2K owners?

Hmmm, not too familiar with Bushies, but Tribals are totally tubeless in stock config, and also in the LPR configs that I sell.

What about the Ram housing? :D

Is he talking about having no tubing? or no tub? I'm confused lol

Well my guess is that he is talking about completely removing the stock frame(and solenoid/board housing)

and doing something that gregICD (former ICD main tech) does for bushies.

I do know that there is a way to make a ram/solonoid hybrid. The guys over at PBX labs did that with the MQ valve for the autococker and Im sure if you had the ability to modify stuff like that you could make one for a tribal

where the hell do they put the noid?? is it moved to the grip and running lpr hose to some barbs or something so that you can run a lower profile tub

the noid and the ram are integrated into one piece and you just have to conect the valve to the circuit board. I know he converted one for an automag, it is really a great idea but it is taking them forever to just do the ones for auto cockers so I doubt you will see an expansion to other guns any time soon. I just mentioned it to say it is possible

this is what it looks like

http://www.unofficialpbxsite.com/html/modules/gallery/MQvalve/mQvalveh.jpg

this replaces all the internals of the cocker as well as getting rid of the sear in the grip frame and the noid in the Eblades

goose

that would make one bad cocker dude

that is what they say, though getting one is not easy, it took almost a year from announcement to first shipment, and getting through the preorder list is taking forever. I tried to get on the preorder list last year but my name was lost so now I am just waiting till they are done with the pre order list

the more I thought about it, the more walls you would run into.

I did not take into acount moving the bolt, cockers have the front end and rod to move the block. Mags are also real simple, so you would have to modify the valve to move the bolt or think of something else. Im sure there are other problems you would run into as well.

On a side note I finally talked to PBX and should hopefully get the call for my valve order and Warped sportz LA should be done with an adaptor sleeve for the Z Force Body.

The tubless mod uses a mac valve similar to the one Brass Eagle used on the rainmaker. it is located in the grip frame along with the board and battery. that is how they do it on bushmasters and BKOs. I lived about 30 miles from a ICD airsmith.

well i just bought one and the noid is in the frame and you use a 12v battery, i hear it can last 30,000 shots

it will be up and running soon

B2k, If possible, get some pic's up of your guns! I like the way you talk about them, and would like to see em!!!!

how about pics inside the frame?

Now that actually makes a Bushmaster look reasonable, less the goofy trigger.

I dig the trigger, it's kinda different.

Nice pics man! Great looking gun!

the noid is vert in the grip its the Plate that holds the magic

and it uses a 12v battery

Does the plate double as a manifold with hoses coming out for the solenoid?

goose
10-06-2005, 07:43 PM
actually warped i woud think you could tap the holes for an m3 fitting or something along those lines then run a smaller noid in the frame itself.

all you would have to do then is mill a slot for the barbs to stick through the plate.

making it like a manifold so the air travels down the plate to the back of the frame would be better but might also be more labor intensive.

just some thought for you to tinker with since you have a cnc now lol

The Bushy has an internal LP passage just like the Tribal though, so no drilling the entire lenght of the plate would be necessary. I was more talking about just having a small manifold built into the plate so you wouldn't have to drill and tap on the body. As well if you happened to strip out one of the holes, you wouldn't be out a new body, just simply a new plate. And you could tap them for 10-32 so you could run QEV's on it to speed up cycle time a little bit. I had envisioned the area to the rear and front of the manifold part of the plate to be pocketed out much like the stock tubs. That would allow for some good weight reduction

I should play around with the BKO I have collecting dust here, but I think school is going to take priority. I've been contemplating what to do with that thing for a while now...

YES! but i forgot to check out the thread size, the way they figured it out it doesnt need QEVs, the lines are straight unlike a timmys which have bends in the hose that could actually benefit from them

hummmm i really shoulda checked to see if they were 10-32

hey guys just wanted to show off my B2K in its present config
http://www2.hawaii.edu/~koa/stuff/pump1.jpg
http://www2.hawaii.edu/~koa/stuff/pump-trayless.jpg

now it uses the stock noid, its good stuff

im thinking of making a B2K with a noid that doesnt use a manifold and scrwws directly to the body, well see how it turns out

Would anyonw know how to do this with an impulse? My strange vision would look sweet without the tray, sorta like an ego!

I don't know any exacts, but if I were to do it. I'd get a frame with ALOT of room, use a Morlock board, and timmy 'noid. Then, if there isn't enough room left, run a remote system for the battery. Like a Intelli-feed style wire to a project box on the tank cover, or hopper.

Maybe something like a '03 Shocker frame, or '05 Proto Matrix frame. Those have a TON of room.

B2KtinkerR
09-09-2006, 07:52 AM
theres lots of room, imps use the same noid so it should be easy

Dances with Tribals
09-10-2006, 01:57 PM
Yea I have the room and everything worked out, but I'm still learning exactly what the noid does. It sends electrical pulses that activates the ram correct? Would I have to run wires from the noid to the body?

warpedmephisto

The solenoid controls are flow to the ram, basically like an electronic 4-way on a classic 'cocker. You'll have to run wires from the board to the solenoid, and a hose from the LPR to the solenoid and 2 hoses from the solenoid to the ram.

Im like a super mega noob who doesnt know a lot about tribal paintball guns, I have a fluster if anyone was wondering, its single trigger and is it possible to make it a double trigger and upgrade it... btw i have no clue wat an LRP or ram is and how much they cost! So please help a newbie like me!

Wait oops yea I meant air not electric. I was wondering how to run the air. I guess barbs and macrolines? Warped you can show me at ffo exactly how to run the air.
