stock aoc at 75 and working????

when i got this super clean tribal twister from nebedoo he threw in a gladiator reg cause it was leaking out the noid.

i put the aoc guage on it yeterday and found that it was at 140 psi. he said he checked and it was at 120 and he thought that might be the problem but never tore into it.

i completely strippded and lubed the entire marker up real good.
turned the aoc down and put it all back togather.

the guage is now reading 75 and it is fucntioning wonderfully with no leaks

i am going to take the guage off and see where it goes from theere with the aoc cap on it.

will it function correctly with that low of pressure going to the noid?

i thought they were suppose to be between 100 and 110 tops so i an just curious as to weather i should turn it up or not but it seams to be running good on the low pressure with the stock aoc.

any advise anyone???

Yep it should work fine. What to need to see if how fast it recharges, and how much drop off you get as you shoot faster and faster.

This is what you will see if it isn't perfoming good enough:
1. FPS drop off as BPS rise
2. Consistance of FPS may be worse at lower LP
3. FPS may be lower while LP is set lower, but you will have to test it at two different LP setting which is hard with a AOC, hence the reason for replacing the AOC with an externally adjustable LP set up.

If it works good enough I would say leave it at 75 psi.

well with the single trigger set really tight on the 50 microgram switch i could get it really ripping it was actually bouncing on me which is odd cause i can not get a double to bounce. (must be all the years of slide triggers that i loved on my cockers)

it didn't seam to be dropping off to bad...if it starts to drop of i will throw the gladiator reg on it to see if that works....for now it is working pretty damn good and i kind of hate to butcher it with it being so darn clean and working so well stock

none the less though i have an otb frame coming and that will get shipped of to darnell for a short tub. he said the otb's are tall so he is going to try to get everything down as compact as he can for me

shifty has an lpc for replacing the aoc on the way to me and i already have a palmer rock i bought from him previously....just in debates on weather or not i want to tap the asa or buy one of the 3 port adapters from airsoldier for 12 bucks...it ads like an inch of length but also has 3 ports...no garuntee though that it will all line up right.

just hate to butcher this thing up but that morlock board and everything else would make her rip so nice....

might just leave it stock and upgrade the 2.2 mephy that use to belong to kaos...it already has the back half of the top tube milled off so i don't feel so bad butchering it.

will have to get a chrono to really test the fps drop off though as that may be somethingi am not really seeing since i usually eyeball it...last time i chronoed my cocker i was only shooting 225 fps and still holding my own so i tend to be a bad judge of fps...just always ran them low to be on the safe side
