What should my spring tension be on my LPR adapter? what could I get away with, with just about any pressure? I was thinking # 2.:

And I had to grind the adapter so I could get a Cresent wrench on it and turn it..

3 looks pretty good to me, or inbetween 2 & 3. I think you want the adjusting nut closest to the valve about .75" away from the rear of the adapter. I usually just put the gun together and then get a feel for how much spring is on the valve pin by pushing the bolt forward (degassed of course). You want some resistance, but not too much.

He is now on Gen5.
