Okay folks, thought I'd get everyone's reactions on this before I implemented it as policy. The idea I'm putting before you is this: instead of me going thru and asking everyone via PM if their B/S/T thread is old news or still a going concern, I just delete everyone that has had no new posts for 30 days. The reason I'm doing this is I find myself with less 'net time, and forsee a severe shortage of said 'net access in the near future, for some odd reason. But, I'm a fair kind of guy, I'm leaving it up to you gents. So, vote away, and when I feel enough of you have ignored the question, I'll change policy how I want it, anyway. *evil grin*

I think a month is long enough and we can allways relist after deletion if it is still up for sale

I think that is fine as we are not getting to many people to delete on their own.
We don't see to many people updating their for sales either.

Yeah I wasn't sure if the thread starter had the ability to delete his own thread.

There is a solution to not being able to delete.......A person could always edit the first post and delete all the content and type SOLD in nice large bold letters and that would solve it. Then if the Moderator had time, they could delete the sold threads.

BUT as tetsu knows, people don't maintain their F/S threads.

posibly if we had the ability to delete our own threads, we might take the extra few seconds to do so... just a thought. I know I would

I'll see if there is a way to delete your own threads.

that would be cool, thanks. Im sure there has to be. We were able to over at PBN werent we? Since they went to this program it has to be an improved version, so it should at least have the same features if not more

OK, I set the permissions under the Buy/Sell/Trade Forums so the thread starter can delete his own threads and posts.

Someone needs to try one to see if it works, as I cannot tell if my Admin abilities are getting in the way.

Oh Tetsu, you can still delete them if people don't prune their own threads.

Hopefully this will lessen your Mod work. Since your not online, just shoot me a PM and tell me you need or want help. I can probably get someone (who is online more often) to take a stab a modding.

It has been several months since the TOG has been up, and I think I need to revisit the MODs anyway.

Okay, thanks to everyone who voted and sorry it took me so long to get back on (I get internet for two weeks before it konks out and I find the PX just sold out of the cable I need to get it back up? yeah, Fate is a fickle, fickle bitch with a fucked up sense of humor... but you gotta appreciate her comedic timing), but I'm back for the forseeable future. Thanks all, and remember, the future is you!!

(or something banal like that... )
