i need some advice..i took my twister out tonight for the first time after getting the palmer rock installed and the lpc is installed and i have a fury chip installed... the problem i ran into had nothing to do with it cycleing persay..it was cycleing perfect and ripping nicely....the problem i was having is no mater how i adjusted the hpr it was either really really low fps or just over 200 fps and it is putting out over 200 psi the first shot would be right around 200 fps and the next shot would only go about 50 feet even if i waited for a min.. i have a feeling it is in desperate need of a rebuild

my 47/3000 however only lasted for like 150 shots or so. i am like really bumming right now...i am about to just put a palmer stabe on it and just straight up run c02

Yeah, definitely clean it out and see what the problem is. If nothing else, put an aftermarket reg on it and see how it performs after that.

You should be able to get quite a few balls through there, but remember you do have one of the smallest HPA tanks.

What is you setup, as it may give clues to your problem?
Check or reset your Dwell.
Tribal HPR are famous for sticking and spiking.

furry chip is installed so right now it is set at
3,4,5 in off so it is in selinoid off time before recyleing 20 bps
6 is off so dwell is set at 14 ms
7 is off but i do not have eyes so it is irrelevent

it has an lpc on it as well as a palmer rock reg. i only have an aoc guage not an inline guage so i can not tell you what the rock is set at

stock valve body with a shaved valvestem and everything else is stock

i understand it is a small tank but i can usually get 2 to 2 and 1/2 hoppers out of it on my cocker which runs at 275 psi with stock internals and pnumatics

i mean my tribal straight rips but i did not figure it would be such a gas hog and that the velocity would be so low....i got this one to modify as it was the cleanest one i have seen forsale..looked brand new and didn't even have wear on the bolt it is that clean...none the less i will have to see what the macdev will do when i get a chance to play again

Old Skool LPR/AOC adjustment......
If you don't have a ram gauge this is gunna be the quickest way to get you in the ballpark. And just to let you know you'll be working "backawrds"..... it'll make sense.
Air up your marker and start adjusting your palmers "up" till you start blowing air out the noid vents (gripframe). That puts you lpr at about 130+psi, now back off the palmers lpr until it stops hissing. That should have you in the 120-125psi range. Put your #6 dip in to on position (18ms) and set your HPR at 215-225psi. Now chrono..... if you're low increase the HPR psi @ 20-25psi increments. If the fps drops then return to the original setting and lower from there. I actually had a reg sweetspot at 160psi, I've also had HPR's that had to be set near 270psi.
Anyway once you find the sweetspot in the HPR and have the fps over 290 turn the #6 dip back to off (14ms). In most cases (generally speaking) the average settings should be; HPR 215-225psi/ LPR 105-120psi/ DWELL 14-16ms
Another thing to keep in mind is that your paint could effect your fps as much as 30+fps. You might try swapping paint and/or barrels during chrone.
Good luck..... :)

i use inserts so i match the barel to the paint...secondly i can not get the hps to go over 200 psi so i think this is part of the problem. shouldn't the palmer and lpc allow you to run a lower psi through the palmer? i mean it was working great with everything stock and the aoc set on 70
