As you can see we need to start all the Cats, Forum, and Sub-forums.

Yeah, the b/s/t needs to be more than just tribals, cause alas, we can't all be like you edwin and shoot only tribals :) LOL

Non-Tribal Markers F/s or something like that would be good. Along with, Non-Tribal Parts F/s or something to that effect. I suck at the naming thing, but I'm sure you guys can do better.

also, i pm'd kaos and edwin... with some questions.....

so like we gonna have a seperate forum for none tribal stuffs... with sub forums for certain things....?? guns, tanks, hoppers, misc, ect. yeah?? :D that would be kool.



EDIT: also, alowing ppl to sell other then tribal stuff here will open this site up to alot more ppl.... it wont just be directed to 1 group to much.... like, the only way to get new tribes ppl... r by selling/buying tribals.... its not like the company is still in business.... so alowing ppl to sell other then just tribals here would get us out there more... and then if ppl have questions about tribals and such... they know were to look :D

Shawn, as nice as it would be, do we want like 5 dead topics? Like, airsystems, and such, are all general imo, and for the time, I don't feel the need to have them.

Sub-topics for other markers would draw more in, but its a bunch of topics that would be basically dead, unless we manage to draw owners from other marker groups, which, this forum is mainly for tribals. I suppose a "Non-Tribal Marker" Topic would be fine, but is it really necessay?

I think it's too complicated.. there's 15 forums. We won't get more traffic then we do here, so it'll be hard to check for new threads. I think it should be like 4 forums at most... like a B/S/T and Tech forum, General Tribal, and Off- Topic

I probably won't use this forum much unless it gets WAAYYY simplified...

OMG, you can change it, in the CP, under options.

Anyway, I kinda feel there are a bit too many forums.

I mean, for the traffic we are going to get we could just have a marker b/s/t, part b/s/t, general, tech, ot, and maybe another one, not too sure though.

Yeah, that messed with my head the first post or two, but then I saw it was an option and changed it to "Linear - oldest posts first" and the world was right again.

I fixed it. I still think we need alot less forums.. It's confusing to check 15 forums with 2 posts in each...

EDIT: the new post button helps, but I think it should be simplified :o

Have you ever tried Colt .45? Take my advise, and don't, unless you like going to your Russian class at 1030 in the morning still drunk and about ready to puke and read english subtitles from a Russian movie, then have to explain to your teacher why she didn't get your email about a website you had to make for a different movie you watched in class, also in Russian with english subtitles. All the while reaking of sweat and alochol. Then going back to try to sleep, only to find you still havent taken out the kiddie pool out of your 2 person dorm room, that also is causing the room to become very humid, and yet you can not open the door for fear of a RA seeing it.

Seriously Edwin, I think we could combine all the "tech" forums together. They are just going to all be like 5 posts in them and be dead 99% of the time.

Then For the Pic forum, we could have one, with the name of post your tribal pics and action pics, and people could make a new thread and post their pics, then people could comment on them. I mean, if we are going to have a seperate forum, why not allow seperate threads all in one forum? Think of it, someone makes a thread with thier pictures, and people can comment and ask questions and such. Both action, tribal, and other marker's could all be under one forum, much simpler imo.

We also need a secret mod forum, were we can discuss stuff. :D

I mean, then an Off Topic Forum would be nice. Cause you know we need a "FIne Babe thread" but minus the nudity for "younger" members.

I think I want to keep the Picture Forum the way that it is, as I would like to see Tribal Markers in one spot and all the paintballin in another. If someone is new to the Tribe they can look at just one forum and see all the different types and customs. Furthermore, the picture forum gets pretty conjested after awhile. Of course in the beginning it will be very small, but that is why we are here to fill it.

Let's just keep an eye on things. Those forums that don't get used much can be combined into one that is doing well and has some sort of relation. I just don't see where it's a numbers issue. For example in the b/s/t section, the 4 different catagories there should do quite well. Remember this is not supposed to be another *gag* pbn..... we're trying to be more dimentional and free thinking here.
This site is less than a week old and already has a very nice user base. Imagine what can happen in a few months!

I dislike the way you have to hit the "quick reply to this message" on the bottom right on the each post. I would perfer it just normal, and be able to type.
Also if you hit it before this pops up

Hmmm, that is more of a Vbulletin program issue. Something I don't have control over!!!

Your issue is only difficult when your looking for current "active" topics. I click the "New Posts" quick link to when I am trying to add to current topics.

BUT, I don't think it is difficult or confusing when your looking for particular topic, i.e tech stuff, or for sale.

Also when you want to post something, you just go to the forum that pertains to your topic and start a new Topic!!!!

The only time that it is every difficult is if you actually search each Forum for new posts, which shouldn't be done as we have a "New Posts" quick link!!!!

So tell me, if you wanted to find out about Tribal HPR tech issues what would you do??? I would go directly to the HPR Tech Forum or to the Search Quick Link. Is that difficult???
