You start looking around the internet these days and you start noticing a decided lack of valve options for our beloved Tribal. Yeah, I've posted about this before, and even done some polls, but it appears as if there are not aftermarket valve options available for sale anymore. It even looks like ASP has stopped offering valve mods. And I remember KYTracker saying something about testing some valve mod for a friend of his, or ist that just a delusion of mine? What became of it? Am I wrong? Have I missed something? Anyone got something in the works?

Thanks!

I do have a valve idea in the works, but it is going to take a little time.

What I am planning on doing is making a custom valve, the "Blue Valve", that will have a much better flow characteristics than the stock. I have noticed a few thing that I think I can improve on over all the standard Tribal valves. No information devulged at this time, just the color and I am working on a valve.

I don't have a time frame to give anyone... ...I plan on making a couple prototypes for testing then I will have my machine shop produce several and have those anodized blue.

I know there are a few guys who could really use some valves, but that number doesn't justify me to run out and start producing like I did with the TILPRs and the TLPRCs. Sales just weren't there!!!

Sounds like a plan, Ed. I can't blame you for not making a lot of 'em (the Tribe certainly rocks, we're just not made of money), just let us know how it's going.

And looking thru old posts, I see that back in January, HaveBlue and KYtracker were working on an alternative valve. Yet I haven't heard anything more on that, or seen either of 'em around of late. Anyone know what our erstwhile companions are up to? How's the aforementioned project going?
