I have a Tribal Twister with a Dye LPR that is otherwise stock. I am planning on getting Edwin's delrin bolt to replace the clunky aluminum one. Is it any easier on the paint then the stock aluminum in this marker? Also, I'm wondering what non/electronic upgrade parts would be best and order of importance. Here's my thoughts.

1.)Delrin Bolt
2.)New HPR. Probably Sidewinder or AKA 2 Liter.
3.)Edwin's LPCLPR combo so I can eliminate the micro hose piece that is currently external on the DYE LPR
4.)Clamping feedneck of some kind. I realize this might not be available.

Let me know what you fellas think I should do to maximise shot to shot consistency and the reliability of my Tribal. Speed is not a factor as I like it very much at 11BPS. Recharge rate is a factor up to the 13BPS cap on the stock board. Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

1-3 sound great.
4.. They make feednecks for them, but the threads(bushy) are barely close enough. They work just fine however. Edwin, CDarnell, and many others do 'feedneck mods' for your stock feedneck, and add a clamp.

Check out www.tribal-paintball.com for one of edwin's.
CDarnell has them too(same kind), but I temp. forgot his website address.. I think it's www.whitedogproducts.com ... I think.. try it. I know i'm probably wrong on the name.. whitedog something.... :dunno:

It looks like Edwin's Clamping No-Pro and No-rise feednecks are complete replacement parts for the tribal feedneck. Do I have to send mine in to be re-worked?
Also, on the bolt front, will it be easier on the chopping front than the Aluminum? I'm assuming it will be, but I'm sure a good loader is a part of that equation. I had a chop yesterday I know was caused by my dying Revy 12volt.

1) it is a good alternative to the stock bolts ...... sometimes you have to actually have to sand the new bolt down and of course make sure the top bore is free of burrs and whatnot.
the bores seem to be different on all the tribals
2) i highly recommend the sidewinder or gladiator......but the torpedo , dye hpr , and gen-x hprs are solid as well.
3) i never did mind the hose ....... but if its not your thing the tilpr ( i have 2 ) is a solid choice though i prefer the lprc more.
could be i have the stainless steel lprc ( 1 of 2 ) and used the prototype when he first made them that leans me towards those .
4) on cdarnells you have to send your stock one in and he modifies it for you ..... on edwins you just order it and he sends it to you although i think the blue ring is out of stock right now.

Craig's website is www.whitedogpaintball.com Everything else sounds like a winner though! I would go for an LPR of some type first, then go for the HPR. After that you can do the bolt and feedneck, but they aren't entirely necessary. After those, the sky's the limit.

Absolutely get a new bolt. I cannot stress how much of an improvement my bolt has made in my marker.

Funny but I also have a new sidewinder. It helps alot on consistency and recharge.

Pass on the new lpr, tilpr, or whatever. You already have an aftermarket lpr, and the exposed hoses are not a problem. I've played with cockers for years and they have never had difficulty with direct hits.

Clamping feednecks are nice, depends on how well you hopper fits i guess...

Just my thoughts...
