Which would you guys suggest? I am going to need a LPR for the addicted, which will probably be another years work in progress. Looking at all the parts, I am pretty sure that I have all the other upgrades picked out.

Obviously the SCM2 is the better choice, but its much larger than the Micro Rock, and its another $40 for one. My question is, will there really be that much difference? The Micro Rock has been the tried and true LPR for many years, and I wonder how advantageous going to the AKA would really be.

I am on somewhat of a budget....the upgrades alone are over $500 without the barrel, hopper, tank, or annodizing. I would bite the bullet though if the difference was that substantial-

Personally, im hooked on Palmer. They make some of the best regs out there, and are known for it. I would say go for the Palmer. The AKA is as good, but as you said, its a little bigger, and more expensive. Smaller is better.

I liked the Rock I had on my old BBT, as it did a yeoman's job for me.

I can't imagine that the soda can is so much better then the rock that you (or anyone without some sort of testing equipment) could ever tell the difference.

I'd go with the tried and true Rock.

Yeah...I think I am going to stick with palmers. That will save me a few bucks.

Thanks for the input guys! (get it.....play on "input".....haha)
