The problem I'm having is the gun is double feeding, b/c of the Reloader B.
Not when I'm shooting fast however, just with the first couple of shots.
I know it's a 3/8-24 size tap for the detent threads.
Should I use a 3/8" drill bit?
Circles were just thrown in there, it's not exact. I would make sure it was alligned with the existing detent.
Would this scuff up my bolt? what If I used a Macdev detent?
Green or Red?

And btw, Does anyone have 2 macdev detents to spare?
I would like to go ahead and change out the stock one too, it's shot.

Your Killing Me!!!!
Because that is the correct bit to drill with to get the proper hole size for 75% threads!!!!
If you use 3/8" your tap will slide right in!!!
Each tap has specific drills that will give approximately 75% threads. Sometime people drill 60% or 50% threads for tough material like Stainless, but for Aluminum most use the standard 75%.
Search the web or drill and tap chart and you will have ever drill size you need for your taps.

Ooo.. ok, I gotcha, I KNEW about that, I just thought that it was a different type of bit, maybe to de-bur it.
sorry for my newby ways.... I'm learning however.. :angel4:
Thanks Ed, and maybe you'd know where the best place to install it might be?

forgot to add that also (when detents across from each other) makes it easier to install eclipse eye covers.
that way you dont have to get custom made ones ....which i will have to do one my addicted with the fury and ace

Yep, directly across from eachother is correct. You might just want to try a new MacDev detent though as the stock ones from Toxic are pretty crappy. That might solve your double feeding issue.

Ok. I put up a wtb thread asking for some, so we'll see how it goes.
Thanks fellas. And is a "Q" size bit the same as a 3/16? maybe just the slightest bit bigger?

No, a Q is not the same as a 3/16" drill. Just use the proper drill and save yourself headaches.
Just found this on www.haveblue.org http://www.widell.com/drillsiz.html
Looks like you can manage with a 21/64" drill bit, but it'll be a bit tight when cutting threads.
