Here's just the very beginning of another custom project that I've taken on. This one will be quite a bit simpler than cpt's project, but none-the-less will turn out quite nice! Here's some pics for your viewing pleasure.

Chopping some off of the top and a start on the angled portion in the back (see the cut slit right under the top tube).

Butter smoooooth. Cutting fluid and the correct feeds/speeds for the mill does wonders...

Still finalizing a design for the front/bottom half of the body, but will get that done soon enough. Here's some pics!

I absolutely love how it 'waves' up lke that.

This I think tops the cake so far on tribals in my book.

Great job Andy. It looks SWEET!!!

I need to stop waiting on a full CNC and just get a mini-mill......... It would definately come in handy building this 17HMR magazine!!!

the 2 slits on the sides ... do they go all the way threw ?
looks like 1 does but the other i cant tell almost like a window to the ram..... can you take another pic of that ?

Checked it out today, they both go all the way though the body. The ram isn't exposed in any way.

from the angle it almost looked like you could see inside the chamber
